细胞因子与眼内炎症

  目前正在实施的研究策略是使用针对细胞因子的单克隆抗体。尽管抗TNF疗法已成功地用于类风湿关节炎的治疗,但阻断EIU期间全身的TNF则使病情恶化[32]。其他的策略还包括:(1)使用“反义寡核苷酸”阻断RNA的转录在基因水平上调控细胞因子网络;(2)抑制参与某些细胞因子分泌的酶类(如金属蛋白酶);(3)通过定向基因疗法将某些基因导入眼组织使其发生短暂性表达增强。然而,应该认识到的是,许多细胞因子对于网络稳态的维持可能起着重要的作用,打破这个复杂的网络将可能得到与预想相矛盾的结果。
