Purpose:To evaluate the visual quality of wavefront guided corneal surface ablation.

Method:
25 patients received wavefront-guided epiLasik , using VISX S4 customVue platform with iris registration technique and AMO Amadeus Ⅱ Microkeratome , all by one surgeon between October 2005 to May 2006.

Results:
Pre-op wavefront data and post-op 3M wavefront data analyzed and compared with wavefront data from wavefront guided. LASIK cases postoperatively. At 3M F/u , epiLASIK group had the same UCVA as LASIK group, and less high order aberration quantity, data will be presented and discussion.

Conclusions:
Wavefront guided epiLASIK achieve the same visual quantity as wavefront guided LASIK, but diminish high order aberration that be created by corneal flap.
